& Retreat to Weippe Fun Run/Walk

Event Schedule

Friday, May 22nd

The 3rd Annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off will be at 5:00 pm on May 22, 2009 at the Weippe Community Hall. Cooks will be preparing food all afternoon, come by and visit, dinner will be served promptly at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door at $6.00 per person, which includes 5 portions of your choice of Dutch Oven dishes, bread and beverage.

At 7:00 pm the Hilltop Players present the melodrama "The Vile Veterinarian" or "How Much is that Doggie with the Widow?" Admission is donation only.

Saturday, May 23rd

  • 7:00 - 10:00 am - Breakfast in Hall
  • 8:30 am - Retreat to Weippe Fun Run/Walk- Start (Registration Page - Proceeds from this year's event support the Deyo Reservoir and Wetlands Project.)
  • 9:00 am - Unveil the Crossroad of Culture Exhibit
  • 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
    • Horseshoe Tournament

    This grand event can kick off your Memorial Day Weekend and you can still go camping for 2 days.
