Tournament
- Deer Creek Reservoir
- 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Final Weigh-In at 2:30 p.m.
- $15 Entry Fee - Pre-sale at the Timber Inn and Pierce Hardware in
Pierce.
- Each entry fee paid receives a free bottle of Xtreme Reel + donated
by Empire Mfg. valued at $20.
- Concessions available for purchase.
- Kids Awards
- Prizes for Heaviest Fish: 1st Prize: $400; 2nd Prize: $200; 3rd
Prize: $100
- Prizes for Largest Fish: 1st Prize: Rod donated by Black Dog Tackle;
2nd Prize: Reel donated by Pierce Hardware.

Wine Tasting Extravaganza
- At the Timber Inn Courtyard in Pierce from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- Appetizers, different beers and of course, wine.
- Participants receive seven tasting tickets upon arrival which automatically
enter you for one of two door prizes.
- Picnic Basket Raffle - Includes a cutting board, cheese knife, corkscrew,
wine, meats, various cheeses and crackers. The raffle tickets are
$1 per ticket or six for $5.
- Various wineries have donated wine. These bottles will be tasted
and judged by participants. The winner will receive a plaque as best
of taste. Eileen Schmidt of Meridian, a former area resident,
has donated many bottles of wine from her shop.
- Tickets are $20 in advance, and may be purchased from Robbie at
the Timber Inn 464-2736, Harv or Colleen at The Outback 464-2171,
Bev Bailey at Creative Gifts 435-4189 or Denise London Cedar Creek
Manufacturing @ 435-4802 or at Classic Nails at 435-4092. The tickets
can also be purchased at the door for $25 each.
