Update 01/14/2015

Pierce 1860 Days (New News!) from Kathy Coles (208) 464-1083

The 2015 dates for Pierce 1860 Days are July 31, August 1st and 2nd. Please spread the word!
We do have the major entertainment in place and rearing to go for 2015!
Friday, July 31, (Kickoff at the Pierce Community Center) features BEARGRASS!

You will want to come out for this dinner, pie and ice cream social, and Berry/Cherry Bake-Off winners awards. What a great way to start a FABULOUS mountain weekend!
And don't forget the Mini Log Drive!

Saturday, August 1, the morning concert will get you awake with WANIGAN, another well-known group around the area. They will be keeping Main Street jumping from 10:30 to 12 noon, getting everyone in the mood for the Big 1860 Days Parade. Be sure to secure your favorite viewing spot early!
Here is the BIG ONE...(drum roll, please). The Street Dance Band this year is DAN FALLER and THE WORKING POOR!! They will dominate the Main Street stage at 7:30pm, and keep your feet moving until 12 midnight. We want to see everyone out on Main Street for this country/rock band - most of you know them well.

Another change in the 1860 Days schedule is a new venue - Sunday's Kids' Games and Winner's Drawings will now take place at the Courtyard Park Pavilion on Main Street,
next to the J. Howard Bradbury Memorial Logging Museum. There will be the exciting Kids' Games, plus maybe a few new surprises! This is all on Sunday, August 2, after 1pm. In the next few months, we will have the new schedule and reveal some more new surprises for this great Pierce weekend!

Please check back for new news, and thanks for being part of the Pierce community experience.
